Qi beauty treatment results Before and After

The Qi beauty Facial Treatment uses Gauss Specific micro-magnets to stimulate the skin and trigger natural healing responses. Qi beauty uses Static Magnetic Stimulation techniques (SMSt) based on Founder Kathy Pedersen’s research and clinical application of SMSt in the Recovery Potential of Skin.

The results of one facial treatment can be see in these photos. Immediate effects include a softening of facial lines and wrinkles, a brighter complexion and improvement in skin elasticity and facial volume.

Skin feels more energetic as dermal fluids have moved upwards to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, particularly around the eyes, lips and softening the naso-labial line.

The brightening effects of the Facial Treatment can be seen here as the skin appears clearer, the alkalinising effects of gold, combined with the vaso-normative effects of Static Magnetic Stimulation techniques result in clear, luminous skin.

Qi beauty Facial Treatment is suitable for people with the following skin conditions:

  • All skin types (dry, oily, combination)
  • Redness and prone to skin sensitivities
  • Acne prone and prone to breakouts
  • Pigmentation and hyper-pigmentation
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Loss of volume
  • Loss of skin elasticity resulting in sagging skin
  • Heavy Jowls
  • Defining facial features and working on facial symmetry
  • Increasing Volume in specific facial zones

Treating Acne: A Practitioners Perspective

Kathy Pedersen talks about how to use the Qi beauty Facial to treat acne in teens and young adults.

“Most Acne sufferers seek to determine underlying causes for their condition and look to complementary therapies to help balance hormones, provide dietary advice, advise skin care programs, provide stress lowering treatments, treat underlying tissue damage and fix the skin barrier. Whilst people with Acne are usually very committed to following a treatment program, patience is key.  Acne treatment is a slow process, and this is the difficulty when treating young adults who are anxious to see a result.” (qibeauty.com.au)

The treatment of Acne starts with exploring the principles of skin conditions; there are 12 in total that Kathy emphasises when treating Acne with the Qi beauty Facial Treatment.

  • That “The first line of defence is the unbroken skin” .
  • The treatment goal is to prevent new lesions and scarring.
  • The importance of the skin barrier and homeostasis to encourage flora attachment to skin.
  • The relationship between hormonal imbalance and acne.

Trick your skin into behaving younger

You can trick your skin into behaving younger and more energetically, and it has a lot to do with what you put on it. There comes a point when a moisturiser just doesn’t cut it anymore, and you notice that your skin needs a little something else, just something to give it a boost – maybe even the complexion, or help smooth those fine lines around the eyes. Serums are the go-to for serious skin care, they are the first step when you’re looking at a more ‘active’ way of taking care of your skin.

Serums are more easily absorbed into deeper skin layers because they have a smaller molecular structure than a moisturiser, the clever ingredients in the serum are able to penetrate the outer layer and start work on the part of the skin that matters, below the dermis. Smart ingredients like DMAE.ea, Hyaluronic Acid, Matrixyl3000 have been made to behave like the anti-aging compounds the body produces naturally, so your skin recognises them as help – not a threat – so theres no stress on the skin, which means no inflammation.

To use a serum, first decide what it is you want from the serum. Lift, volume, smoothing fine lines, evening out pigmentation and skin tone.. Then choose your serum based on the active ingredients. ‘Active’ means the ingredient will be working on your skin, jot just sitting atop and making your skin feel smooth, but not actually doing anything. Ideally you want 4 active ingredients in a serum, and if there are peptides, they need to be coupled with other peptides to work effectively.

Apply your serum to the area – or whole face, neck, décolletage, and hands, then apply a moisturiser over the top once the serum has dried. The moisturiser will ‘lock in’ the serum and create a barrier to protect the active compounds while they work on your skin. If you’re using a serum in the morning, apply a moisturiser over the top then your normal makeup routine as usual. This is also a great way to protect your skin from free-radical damage from SPF, makeup, air pollutants, throughout the day.

Qi beauty’s serums feature hand selected ingredients that target skin deficiencies  and improve the health and function of skin.

The energy that governs you

How does your Qi govern your entire body? What is Qi? and how does it circulate?

Qi goes by many names, commonly known as chi, prana, spirit or vital energy, it is the energy that gives us our life force, our vitality and connects us to our self, or heart. It travels the body via meridians, traveling like electricity to circulate and connect our organs and spirit.

It is not visible energy, but it is detected in our state of being, when we feel settled, at peace with ourselves and the world around us, this is the state we like to feel. When it is unsettled, or the energy is blocked, we can feel unsettled, and not quite like ourselves.
